"One of the things that drew me to serving as an intern at Victory Family Ministries was my desire to gain hands-on experience in counseling struggling teens. After graduating from Bible college with a degree in missions, I felt well-equipped for ministry from an academic standpoint. Practically speaking, I knew I needed a place where I could put education to practice and train for my future ministry as a church-planter. Victory is the perfect place for me to gain this valuable ministry experience. Every day, I have the opportunity to confront teens trapped by their sin and present them with the life-changing power of the Word of God. When I am not sure where to turn or how to handle a situation, I draw upon the counsel and encouragement of the staff. I get to work alongside competent and experienced Biblical counselors, whose experience and wisdom guides my work. Whether you are preparing for vocational ministry or would like to learn how to skillfully present God's Word to change lives, serving at Victory would prove to be an invaluable experience that will change you forever and equip you for God's work.
Working as an Resident Assistant at Victory also provides great academic benefits! Continuing my education was important to me, so I am thankful for the opportunity and support to take online seminary courses while serving here.
